Chairman
Ross is a Managing Director of a Warwick based national livestock transport business. Ross has held several national positions in the transport industry.
Paul McMahon
Deputy
Paul manages the Rowe Group of companies which has a diverse investment portfolio. He holds a Master of Business Administration, an accounting degree, is a CPA as well as a graduate of the AICD course. He is Treasurer of St Andrews Toowoomba Hospital and a director of the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation. He also owns and operates a farming property west of Warwick.
Alan Olsen
Board Member
Alan owns and operates a retail hardware business in Warwick. Alan has strong business acumen and holds a Bachelor of Business Degree, is a CPA and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David Jay
Board Member
David holds a Master of Business Administration from Monash University and an Economics degree from Macquarie University amongst his many qualifications. David is a Fellow of CPAs Australia, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and the Australian Mutuals Institute (Instil). He is a seasoned Director and a Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
Elle Pembroke
Board Member
Elle has strong credentials in finance and an impressive background including experience with BDO, Queensland Treasury Corporation and most recently local government. She holds degrees in Business Management and Commerce.
Bob Hogarth
Board Member
Bob is Managing Director of his own consulting firm following a highly successful career as an executive in the banking industry. Bob is an experienced board member and a human resources and management professional with over 25 years at executive level. Bob has a Masters of Business Administration and an Associate Diploma in Administration.

John Ford
Chief Executive Officer
John is a highly experienced banking executive with over 30 years’ experience working for seven (7) banks, building societies and credit unions during his banking career. He has a strong commitment to member owned banks, serving as CEO at three different ADI’s prior to commencing at Warwick Credit Union in August 2023.
His qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Advanced Diploma in Superannuation and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Outside of banking, John has rural interests in Queensland and NSW.
Stephen Owens
Chief Risk Officer
Stephen was appointed interim Chief Risk Officer in July 2023 and moved permanently into the role in November 2023. He is responsible for developing appropriate frameworks and overseeing Warwick Credit Unions’ approach to credit, financial, operational risk, and regulatory compliance. He has more than 25 years experience in financial services in various roles with blue chip companies in the UK, USA and Australia. Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration, a business degree, is a professionally qualified Internal Auditor as well as a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Kellie Doherty
Chief Financial Officer
Kellie has been with Warwick Credit Union for 14 years, previously employed as Regulatory Accountant before becoming Chief Financial Officer. She has completed a Bachelor of Commerce through USQ and is a Chartered Accountant and Graduate Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Paul Carpenter
Credit Manager
Paul joined Warwick Credit Union in January 2024 and brings more than 25 years of experience as a frontline Banker and Credit Manager across retail, commercial and agribusiness finance. He holds formal qualifications in Management, Finance, Project Management and Operations.
